EBRU ÖZSEÇEN

Ebru Özseçen designed a spatial intervention to the historical Tünel Metro which is one of the oldest metro systems of the world. This project, which could not be realized due to time restrictions, aims to relate the interior spaces and façades of the buildings at the two exists of the Tünel metro leading to the Karaköy and Tünel Squares and thus to link these two buildings which differ greatly from each other architecturally.

Ebru Özseçen, dünyanın en eski metro sistemlerinden biri olan tarihi Tünel Metrosu'na mekânsal bir müdahale tasarladı. Zamansal kısıtlamalar nedeniyle gerçekleştirilemeyen bu proje, Tünel metrosunun Karaköy ve Tünel Meydanları'na açılan her iki çıkışında, binaların iç mekanları ve dış cephelerini ilişkilendirmeyi, böylece birbirinden çok farklı mimari üsluplara sahip bu iki tünel binasını birbirine bağlamayı amaçlıyor.
